Healthy 15 Minute Dinners Can Be Just As Fast And Convenient As Take Out!

When it comes to making a healthy dinner, this is something that many individuals may struggle with. By the end of the day you may be tired, and the last thing on your mind is spending an hour or more preparing and cooking in order to make a healthy menu that your family will enjoy. Your first instinct may be to head to the nearest drive through or reach for the phone to order take out, but this is not typically a good choice to make.

A solution to this would be to look into the available 15 minute healthy meals that can be very delicious and easy to prepare in most instances. You should note the fact that most of these meals will consist of skinless, boneless chicken breast. You can prepare a meal by slicing them into pieces of a smaller size, or you could also pound them thin. Either way, they can be fully cooked in less than ten minutes. This will be your main dish in most of your dinners and you'll love it.

Another option you have is boneless pork chops (great for its high protein content) which can be cooked in a similarly simple manner. In their preparation, you should cut them into thin slices and then soak them in marinade. Throw in a little bit of olive oil and cook them for less than ten minutes and they should be done. You could add some rice or perhaps even a salad that can be prepared within a couple of short minutes and you'll have a nice and healthy meal ready for dinner.

For a special dinner meal, you should cook up a quick marinated steak with some salad at the side. And yes, this can be done within a mere 15 minutes. Of course, you would have to marinate the steak in advance, but that can be done quickly either the night before or in the morning before you leave for work. When it is well marinated and sauteed, the flavor will just be tremendous. As for the salad, use lettuce as the main element with some walnuts and dried cherries for a great blend of taste. Slice the steak into thin slices and place them on your salad. Finally, sprinkle some cheese (bleu or parmesan are good choices) on the top for a perfect finish!

With a little bit of effort, it is very possible to cook up a healthy dinner from the most basic of products in a quick manner. Why order take out when you can make a healthy meal at home in less time than it will take for your take out to arrive?
